Below you will see two calendars where you can choose a flight date from the available dates. Please choose the flight of your choice.

We offer:

Private Balloon Flights and Shared Balloon Flights (with others on board)

After you have chosen your flight date from the calendar of your choice, fill out the information below and select "Book my Flight"  To secure your reservation. To complete your reservation you must make a deposit.  (See notes below)

The Captains Challenge

Explore the amazing world of being a Hot Air Balloons Pilot!  The Captains Challenge is a first hand look at Ballooning.  How is the balloon assembled inflated and flown!  This package is a complete look into the balloon operation.  You will help inflate the balloon and you get to actually fly the balloon.  We will moor the balloon with rope and allow you to fly with the pilot next to you on board!  Learn about the history of ballooning and how a balloon competition is flown and scored.  This package may actually entice you to want to become a pilot!

This is the private balloon reservation calendar.  You may select a private balloon for 2, 3, & 4 passengers. Private Flights are $750 per couple. Private Flight for Three $1125. Private Flight for Four $1500.Select your flight date and how many people you would like in your private balloon flight.

A "Captains Challenge" can be booked on this calendar.

This is the shared balloon reservation calendar.  A non-private balloon flight is $300 per person with a deposit of $75 per person.  A deposit per person is required to secure a flight date.

Private & Shared Balloon Flights

**NOTE: For your balloon flight reservation to be approved you must make a deposit for the flight.  After you have selected a date above and provided us your name and contact information, you can use a debit or credit card to place your deposit.  Should we not receive a deposit, your flight date will still be open for others.  Once you have made your deposit you will receive an email with all the details about the flight including, meeting location, meeting times, what to wear and more.

 

Greater Orlando Balloon Rides POLICY

It is our intent to provide an experience of highest quality at the best possible rates for all our passengers. When booking a flight with us over the phone or on the internet you are reserving seats in an aircraft with a very limited passenger capacity. We try to keep the costs down for all of our patrons.  We also do not like miss an opportunity to fly and a "NO SHOW' will still cause us to incur operating costs, empty seats cause the rates to rise for all of our other patrons. Therefore we have just a few simple but non-negotiable rules for cancellation.

  • Due to the limited availability of passengers per balloon Greater Orlando Balloon Rides (GOBR) requires a deposit to secure a flight date.
  • A flight deposit is good for 6 months.  If the weather has prevented us from flying.  A refund of 50% will be made to the credit/debit card used.  If you have made a deposit for an Event performance a refund of 75% will be made to the credit/debit card used. *See Event Cancellation
  • If you do not show up for the pre-flight briefing or miss your flight there will be a 100% forfeiture of your deposit. No excuses!
  • We require 48 hours notice to cancel a booking.  If you are booking a flight LESS THAN 48 hours from flight time you will not have the option to cancel
  • Cancellations must be done over the phone. 352-874-8448 You must contact your pilot directly.
  • Your flight may be postponed by our pilots on the day of the flight for weather or any safety concerns from our pilots.
  • The Pilot's decision is FINAL! Please do not try to forecast the weather!
  • Flight postponed for safety or weather reasons will be rescheduled for the first available dates.
  • The Flight Deposit is good for 6 months.  If you are postponed by weather and you do not attempt to reschedule you will forfeit the deposit.
Please remember that a hot air balloon is a fair weather vehicle.  We MUST have good conditions to fly safely.  We ask that you are tolerant of our weather (safety based) decisions.  It is YOUR safety that we have in mind at all times.  We understand how frustrating it can be when the weather does not cooperate with your chosen flight date.  We suggest that everyone takes the time to read the "Weather or Not" page.
